The directions and the video are wrong. The bed rail caps on my 2019 Ram Bighorn were already cut out in the rear and the Bull Ring doesn’t come close to fitting in the hole. Yes I can trim more of the cap away and perhaps make it fit, but I would not only have to trim the inside of the hole but the top too since the bull rings are too big to fit. That means using a completely different tool than the router tools and I take a chance on cutting into the metal of my brand new truck. I was missing one of the screws for the rear bull ring so I guess I can’t return them either. So shame on me for not heeding the warnings from other buyers that said these didn’t work on their Rams either. What happened to quality and customer service in this country??Read more

I had bull rings on my 2017 truck and they were awesome. I figured I would try them on my new 2021 ram 1500 and they were horrible. They didn’t flush mount at all. It was about a quarter inch gap. I had two companies look at it to have them installed and both came back with the product doesn’t work. Yes I use the correct mounts for the front and the rear and they still didn’t work. I’d wait till bullring figures out the product SPECT before purchasing. Or you can always get the raised ones.Read more

When I say solid I mean solid!! These should not have “Bull” as part of the name, the ones you can grab from the hardware store that use a toggle bolt are bull!@$% Amazon garage says these dont fit my truck but they absolutely do…very strong fit in fact they are so strong the body panel flexes slightly as you tighten your ratchet strap…..nice upgrade, I have them on the rear rails as well. Not to deter anyone from purchasing the router bits but I did not use those. I am highly skilled with a Dremel which is what I did use. I also cut a few wooden shems to stuff around the edges between the bed liner plastic and the body’s metal to keep the plastic from bowing in as you tighten the Bullrings.Read more

I just installed it on a 2021 Ram 1500 (new body style) with a 6.5 bed. I can’t remember if this is the front or rear ones but both fit. I was super nervous about getting these because so many reviews (not just here) say they won’t fit. You do need to cut all four pockets out of the bed rail protector to get them to fit. I just ended up buy their recommended tool (check their website). Those also did exactly what they were supposed to.If you watch the install video, it is easy to install. I do wish their install video did a better job identifying that it was a new Ram 1500 and showing the pockets to give customers piece of mind. And I wish they showed the install of the front passenger side ring because that one took sometime getting installed. All the others were super easy.Used once so far and they worked perfectly.Read more
