Excellent item! I installed these on my 2005 Ford Excursion. Despite what Amazon says, these fit Excursions just fine. The mounting holes are the same on Excursions and Superduty Crew Cab trucks.Pros:Packaging. Extremely well packaged. I can’t over-emphasize this. They were packed incredibly well. Absolutely no damage during shipping – which is amazing considering the size and bulkiness of the box.Finish. The finish is excellent. I’m not a big fan of the crinkle black (kinda looks like ice on a windshield), I prefer a more satin finish. But, that aside, the finish was perfect. No flaws at all. Did I mention the packaging was excellent?Ease of installation. Installation was a snap. It took me about an hour and a half to do on my own. It’s a bit awkward to do on your own, and a helping hand would make it much faster and easier. But it’s manageable.Sturdy. I’m not a particularly heavy dude – about 180#. But I don’t detect any flex when I stand on them and bounce. If you really wanted to tie them into the frame as a previous reviewer stated, you could easily fabricate some brackets that bolt to the mounting brackets and then bolt to the frame of the truck. (In fact, I might just do that, now that I think about it.)Cons: I was disappointed that I had to gamble to see if these would fit my Excursion. I tried contacting the manufacturer on their website, but their “contact us” form didn’t seem to work. So I took the plunge. Glad I did. But still, it would be great if they updated their info on this to indicate that it fits Excursions. Are you reading this, Tyger? You could sell more of these if you updated your fitment info and/or fixed your website!Bottom line: The fact that they fit, look great, work great and were packaged and shipped incredibly well make up for the fact that there’s some inaccurate information on Amazon.Read more

Great price, the finish on these steps is of very good quality. Very heavy to install by your self, you will need a jack an some jack stands if you are attempting to install alone, I recommend asking a strong friend to help… offer a few beers it helps.. The best part was watching the FedEx driver try and carry the box that the steps came in😆😆 don’t worry I did give him a hand after a few minutes of struggling… the whole install went very smooth. I have a 2002 Ford super duty crew cab, and all of the mounting holes lined up with the new tyger steps perfectly. And all of the hardware was included.Read more

I have wanted these for a couple years.. I decided to treat my old truck to something nice during this plandemic. i previously installed these on my JKU Rubicon, was very impressed…. Now there on my 2004 F250 Lariat 4×4.. these are killer, i am a picky person, these are awesome. Fo packaging is top notch… very stout construction.. quality krinkle powder coat.. well worth $500.00 or more, and only xost $330.00 delivered. Two things that would make them better would be, #1 frame mount, but this would prob. require purchaser to do heavy fab work. #2 if the very ends were shaved down .5″ they would fit a little better. But how they are, i just adjusted to match bottom of doors with 1.5″ gap.The very front edges almost touch the fenders, the rear of them has .25″ clearance from body, but the longest flat surface parallel to the doors is the best look and fit, and makes the best sense…. great company, fact.Read more

Wow! I’m actually stunned at the high quality of these Bars/Boards. Well designed, well made and REALLY good looking. I shopped for several days and looked at every possible design out there. I wanted to keep as much ground clearance as possible but couldn’t find bars that mounted high enough against the rocker panel. I don’t really like the look of running boards, plus they never seemed solid enough. I must have dismissed these fifty times without really looking at them – their photos don’t do them justice. They are constructed entirely (except the brackets and foot plates, obviously) from heavy 2″ tubing welded so that the bottom tube acts like a slider bar. And they are heavy, probably around 65 lbs. each. I won’t get to mount these for a while but they are designed to fit directly beneath the panel. In profile they are 5″ high.Be warned though, they come in a box that’s 8’x20″x12″ – it’s awkward and heavy. Packaging was excellent and arrived in perfect condition. I ordered on a Thursday and received them the following Monday. Can’t beat that. And if everything Tyger Auto makes is this high of quality, you can’t beat them either!Read more

I purchased these for my husband F250 2012 4 door truck. We LOVE them. He had looked at several different types of running boards and couldn’t find any he wanted to spend the $$ on. These are close enough to the bottom of the truck and don’t extend too far out to cause any issues. EVERYONE loves the matt finish and style. The only thing, is the flat step plates could be a bit longer OR shifted back a couple of inches. They work well, but I would make that slight adjustment.Read more

I installed these in a Hotel parking lot with my Wife’s help in 25 minutes. Every hole Location was dead on and matched my truck. 15 minutes for passengers side because I dropped a clip that goes into existing cut outs. That’s on me. 10 minutes for Drivers side fully torqued down AND DONE!!! I have never installed such a easy straightforward set of Truck steps and I have installed my own on every truck I have bought. These went on a F350 SuperDuty Dually. The Ford dealership quoted me $1800 for a set of flat half chrome plastic ones . These are the best I have ever bought extremely heavy duty (50lbs each side) and most definately best deal for price. I found similar for $850 to $1100.Read more
